Step 1:
Sign and notarize the documents online

You and your spouse will each complete a virtual notary session with an online notary. The Plaintiff will sign and notarize then the Defendant will sign and notarize. You do not have to meet with your spouse or do the signing at the same time.

Step 2:
Case submitted to the Clerk of the Supreme Court in your county

The online attorney will e-file your case for you and notify you when the courtfinalizes your divorce.

Step 3:
Place your divorce case on the matrimonial calendar. A judge will be assigned and he or she will sign off on the divorce if all the papers are complete.
